The fish quality in Costa Brava is due to two aspects of the most importance: its rocky and ragged coast, and the non-entrance of fresh water.

One of our favourite fish is the grouper: strong body, hard skin, little scale and big mouth to eat cephalopods and crustaceous.
It is a sedentary fish,with smooth and hard meat not suitable for all tastes, but with a consistence and taste that make it one of the most appreciated dishes.
